Won the Gamblers Race a couple Friday nights ago.
Was runner up this past Friday's Gamblers Race. Went -.005 Red in the final. Broke a fan belt. Luckily I carry spares since I drive to the track. Install and drive home

I’ve slowly been gutting the Trans Am for a couple of months while I have some free time (which is hard to come by nowadays). Today I made some major headway- dropped the T5, unplugged all of the harnesses, cut the old Flowmaster exhaust off, disassembled the top-end of the motor, and got the car ready for pulling the 305 minus unbolting the exhaust manifolds. Naturally the last bolt on the trans was rounded out from the previous owner, so there was plenty of expletives to be said. Luckily the Torx wasn’t stripped.
BTW if anybody wants a relatively rebuild T5 (and only the T5), come get it lol.

 | Gamblers race is bracket racing but everyone runs except dragsters and cars with electronics(foot brake). All handicap based on your dial in (time for your car you establish in time shots)

$25.00 to enter on top of your entry fee. $5.00 goes to the track the balance gets split between the winner and runner up.

So 10 cars entered. Track gets $50.00. $200.00 in the pot. Me and the winner before the race decided to split the $200.00 evenly. We each got $100.00

I just bought a set of stainless brake lines for my white 88 gta. The main rear line had been leaking when I bought the car 9 years ago. Now that I have a toy that needs no work, the caddy, I can do stuff on my other cars for once. Probably also gonna do a full tune-up on it and see if I can get it road worthy.

Have to fit the VFN hood on my car so I can then send it for paint. Got some yellow decals for the ram air letters on the hood, and the bird on the front plate. Got some stock calipers to rebuild and powdercoat too...

Moved to the new house on Sunday. Hell of an experience but very happy its done but a lot of unpacking/organization to go. I hired movers but Pal assistance was required to get it done. Movers started off strong but even they had enough of my crawlspace, attic and garage. If my body is found in a river, we'll all know who put me there.

I'm actually driving my car. For the past few years, my car has mostly sat. One drive a year, at most. I've put over 100 miles on the car this year which may not be a lot, but it's more than I have been doing.

Finally found what I thought was an oil leak, turned out to be a power steering fitting that was leaking. Now it's on to the antifreeze leak. Also installed a progressive water injection system.

Finally got around to installing these BMR upper arms. I bought these awhile ago but was waiting for a nice, rainy, day like today to install. The oem rubber bushings were pretty torn up.

Missed Nicken at the cruise night by a few minutes because I remembered it was going on just in time to get there when half the cars were already going home.
