halo headlight install w/ pics
Last night I installed my halo's (finally). It took about an hour and a half but it was totally worth it! The fit is pretty good using the old mounting brackets and since my car has almost 100,000 miles on it, the old headlights were all clouded up from years of rocks and chemicals. The new headlights make the car look brand new.
Once I get some better pics of them (night shots too) ill post em up.

Halo's defenitly look awsome on the LS1 style Camaro's.
But I never really knew what they are... Are they projection head-lights, or HID's?

the halo itself has 2 LED's on the bottom that light the ring - the rest of the lights are standard issue - i think the upgrade to the HID's is next for me - i had them for a while but when one burnt out it was too expensive for me (at the time) to replace them.

Looks real nice man. First time I ever saw them was on the 5-series BMW's a few years back and I love that look.

halos
Nice i was planning on doing a similar mod. However in the center of the halo's i want to mount my HID projectors. I figure the halo's are the best way to make it look clean.

thanks everybody - everybody i talk to likes 'em too. My thoughts are that it instantly modernizes the car - makes it look like an '05. Gonna take some night shots tonight and post 'em.
I'm also going to disable the sensor for the automatic lights. keep those halos noticable for longer. 8)

They were $160 shipped for the pair - which is good and bad... it seems way too cheap for a set of headlights, but on the up side it sure beats payin $250 a piece for factory units. 8)

Thats pretty impressive. They definately look better on a Camaro than a BMW. Now your Camaro looks even more like a catfish!
