a little followup with sears
You guys remember my post about the sears delivery guys backing up into the t-bird busting the corner light and putting a scratch on the bumper...well the next day my brother found the missing pieces to my light about 15 ft away by the fence. On top of that the same guys came back the following day to finish up with the installation (had to wait for a part) and my dad was home. He broke out the geico yardstick  and snapped shots of the rear bumper and the damage on my car....identical. So I get in touch with claims, explained everything, sent pictures and just got an estimate which I sent them. The estimate came to $512, thats for a new corner light, hour repair on the bumper, partial color paint, and full clearcoat...very reasonable estimate. So the guy is suppose to call me back tomorrow with confirmation of receiving the estimate and when he asked what it came to and I told him he said "well, I guess the drivers will look twice before backing up" so I'm guessing I'll be getting a check for $512
