Paranormal activity?
has anyone heard of this movie? i never heard of it until it popped up on yahoo's main page. it's supposed to be getting crazy amounts of attention and supposed to be crazy scary. the trailer kind of sucks but i read that everyone who has seen it said the trailer was garbage and the movie is real good.

just watched the trailer. looks crappy. but as you said everyone heard thought the movie was scary. maybe ill check it out sometime but i havent heard of it. is it in theatres now or something?

haha forgot to mention, its limited release right now, but they are hoping enough people petition to local theatres in their areas to get it shown

this actually looks like it could be good. Also requested philly, got a couple friends that live there. hopefully it plays somewhere close or i'll be downloading it too

I'm sure they'll open it up. They are spending next to nothing on advertising, and look at the thousands of people who are all about seeing this movie.
They will most likely open it up more and more every few weeks to let it build up more.

Definitely would like to see that in 5.1 Digital Surround Sound at home. Sure to be a keeper. It's the only way to really experience the full effect of the movie (any movie if you ask me).
