help!

im using an electric waterpump and i removed the waterpump gear, do i need to plug that hole up in the block? and if so what should i use to do that? its the middle hole right above the cam sprocket.



if i remember correctly those other 2 larger holes remain open. correct me if im wrong

thats what i thought i would do because it shouldnt hurt anything. i just need to plug up that hole in the timing cover, what did you use to plug that up?

o used a freeze out plug and put some jbweld around it just to make sure it wouldnt ever come out... i forgot what size though...

maybe i will take the waterpump gear and cut the shaft off and just tap that in just so i know its the perfect size
