Any cheap car insurances out there for sports cars like mine?

Right now, I am on a Liberty Mutual plan and it costs too much anymore, and I am only getting older and I have a clean driving record with no accidents or tickets of any sort.
I tried researching insurances like Hagerty and Grundy, but I haven't heard from one of their reps yet. Anyone know of any other insurances meant for people who rarely drive their cars like me?

My car is a 98 Z28 Camaro, garage kept with 47K on it. Everything is still in excellent condition. I only drive it about 1-2 times a month and I average about 200-300 miles per year, if that. It mostly stays in the garage and I only drive it about 3 months out of the year.

I am a 26 male with a clean driving record, yet my rates are still going up. I was always under the impression your rates go down when you reach a certain age. Guess not.

I appreciate any good recommendations for my situation. I'd still like collision coverage, but I feel like I am paying as much as some other Camaro owner who has a bad driving record and drives his car all the time.

I have geico and they have my camaro listed as a pleasure use only vehicle. it costs me less than 500 a year to insure, and we are the same age.

Geico has mine as pleasure only 10k average miles per year is what i listed. I am 24 2 accidents 13pts 2 suspensions(yeah i know horrible lol) i pay 1100/6mo for full coverage. My buddy has an 04 Mustang GT hes 24 clean record no accidents he pays 950 a year with geico. He has pleasure marked down and 5k or less a year and he has full coverage as well. I hope that helps you.

Do you guys with Geico pleasure use only policies have collision coverage on your cars included in that rate? I know that drives it up a lot. While I am comfortable that statistically, I am highly unlikely to ever get into an accident because I drive it so little and only locally, I'd still like to have collision coverage just in case.
Thanks for the replies. I am definitey going to look into that Geico policy. I just think I am paying way too much given the circumstances.

Either way that sounds ok considering your crappy record.

I have liability only on my camaro. But if I decided to throw it on full coverage then I would still only be in the 900-1000 a year range for it.

I just dropped Geico for Progressive last week because Geico raised my rates due to "an increase in claims in my area" spotless driving record and with them for 2 years... I moaned they gave me like $4 off a month for processing or something so I ditched em and saved $400 a year through progressive I believe my firebird is like $300 for 6 months with good coverage.

I have full coverage which includes liability, personal injury, personal property damage, collision, and uninsured motorist/vehicle. I also have 24/7 roadside assistance(same thing as AAA) on My 95 TA. 500 deductible. My premium also includes rental reimbursement of $30day/$900max. We have this on two vehicles 2005 Explorer XLT and the 95 TA. every six months we pay 1364.43 or 231.27 a month. Like I showed earlier i don't have the cleanest driving record.
 Excessive Speeding FTW haha

So not enough coverage to cream a new SS. Still, considering your abysmal record that is good.

They have higher limits. We went with just enough to cover either one of our cars plus another lol. For yours you could go a little higher and still have a lower premium. Considering ours is for 2 vehicles. Your best bet is to see an agent face to face instead of doing it online. They get better deals. They are all over NJ. Just go to the website and find an agent closest to you. Thats just my suggestion anyway.
Here is the collision coverage explained from our policy.

Collision Collision coverage pays for accidental damage to your insured vehicle caused by collision with another vehicle or stationary object. Collision does not pay for incidents covered under Comprehensive (such as theft, fire, or collision with an animal). Collision pays for reasonable repair, towing, and storage costs. If repairing your vehicle is not reasonable, this coverage pays you the actual cash value of the vehicle.

Each collision claim is subject to a deductible (the amount you will pay out of pocket). You should choose a deductible that meets your financial needs; the higher the deductible, the lower the premium charged for this coverage. Please see your contract for state specific coverage details.

Collision is an optional coverage. You may want to consider whether the present value of your vehicle justifies the cost of this coverage. If you finance or lease your vehicle, your lease or financing agreement may require you to have this coverage. Refer to your lease or financing agreement for details.

I agree with seeing an agent. They can help explain what exactly your policy covers and if you have enough or too much coverage (both are possible). I think 15/30 is state minimum for liability.

I have Grundy classic car insurance on my 02 WS6. It is full coverage and is 249.00 a year. I can only drive my car to car events. No mile restrictions I just have to be going or coming from Car related events. You have to be 25 yrs old to get this insurance. I only drive mine 2-3 times a month. They are located in Horsham PA.

I know what it's like to be short on cash and want to keep those premiums down, but state minimum insurance is a joke and really is only there to allow you to drive legally, doesn't really cover crap.
