Finally put my steering wheel on

It took a while to get this wheel done and I finally got around to putting it on to complete the interior! What you guys think? Had it reshaped for better grip, and added carbon fiber to it to match.

Knowing you, I'm surprised the bird doesn't have flames.

Where did you get this wheel? I have tried to find somewhere local that recovers steering wheels with absolutely no luck.

I bought another steering wheel and sent it to my buddies shop at Carbon Fiber Element. He’s out of Metuchen NJ. He did an amazing job on it. Our fbody steering wheels are supposedly really difficult to work on so it’s best to just purchase another wheel and send it out.

Looks good. Do you still have a functioning air bag? If so, did they shave the leather down and score it so it'll split?
As for a place that does steering wheels covers and custom wheels, check out
https://www.redlinegoods.com/Firebird9802shiftboot.php
I'll be having them do my '04 GTO wheel eventually, along with my 2 GTA wheels if they are willing.

Sometimes I miss having a car to customize. My "3 boxes" style Dodge doesn't lend itself to customization. Hell I even dug up some stock style wheels for it.
