the project has begun

well the project on my car has begun..working 2 jobs and 60 hours a week only helps fill the bank account..sundays are my only day off so i make use of them..

i spent 2 hours pulling the old rear from my car..the 9inch was ordered from ttp last week..

the rest of the drive train is still being decided..

either cammed and carbed ls1/t56 or built 355/tko600 trans

tubular kmember, a-arms, front coilover, manual steering, no a/c, electric water pump and sphoon torque arm.

not sure which will provide the best out come but im leaning towards the ls1..ill keep everyone updated.

go with bmr on all yoru suspension stuff. since you are already spending the money you should go with chromoly. do it once, do it right, do it lite. :P
what gears are you looking at?

www.contemporarycorvette.com <<<< these guys can hook you up with a LS1 + T56 combo at a good price.

You can get a manual steering box from an S-10 (you just have to swap the pitman arm). I have one in my car now, but it will prolly end up getting replaced by a WS6 box.....

I would, but it's not mine. I'm pretty sure that it's Tim's (NJSPEEDER)....if not, then it's Bill's (foff667).

thunder racing has the manual racks for sale as well. they are actually on the same page as teh PA k-members.
here is the bmr stuff, you can order straight from them or through thunder racing http://www.bmrfabrication.com/F3-chassis.htm
bmr is really good stuff. highly recomend them over PA.

Thunder Racing sells the full manual rack for $625, but PA Racing sells the same kit on their website for only $565.

Can you retain the standard 3rd gen steering box with an aftermarket k-member?
