exhaust sizes

Can i get a 3 inch cat to bolt up to 2 1/2 edelbrock headers? they are both bolt on. thanks

Worst case you can use a reducer, or you can get a 2 1/2 inch cat with a 2 1/2-3 inch adapter. Why are you looking for a 3inch cat? Anything under 300-325HP a 2 1/2" is plenty and 3" may be too much for a lower powered engine. Depends on your overall plans for the car.

i guess i could go with an adapter to get a 2 1/2 in cat and get the slip on end to fit up to the 3 inch exhaust.
