i don't really like teh sounds of that motor. they use a lot of stock stuff on what is supposed to be a high performance motor and it is also just a edelbrock power package pre-assembled for you.
i also do not see anything on the site that mentions a dyno sheet coming with teh motor, which any good performance builder should supply, and there is also no mention of a warranty that i can find on the site. that is another thing that any good builder would offer.
a 6spd swap is a cool idea. manual is more fun in day to day driving than an auto. i woudl suggest looking for a wrecked LT1 6spd car though. you can grab everythign you need right off it and just have to make minor modifications to the tranny crossmember to install. you could also source a lot of 5spd 3rd gen stuff from a salvage yard(flywheel, pedals, console top) and just get a 6spd with hydraulics to place in there. eitehr way would not cost a ton of money and most good salvage places will offer short term warranties on used trannies.

later

I know what your saying Tim...that engine doesn't have a dyno sheet on the site...i contacted the company and they said they assemble the engine then dyno it and you get a dyno sheet and other crap with it the engine. its plop in, start up pretty much....the idea is still in the air because my friend and i are going to the company first before they get a dime to see this ****......i was thinking about hitting up absolute auto salvage and trying to get a 4gen 6sp but i'd like to get everything new instead of old ****...This is just an Idea because i need power....a **** load more than that **** 305 im putting around in LOL

$5500 for that motor! HOLY ****. Dont even waste your money. Unless you like wasting money, of course. Thats basically a stock rebuild 350 with $1300 heads ...for one thing its got an Edelbrock carb on it

You could throw something together for half the price and make the same power AND have better internals

wow thats alot of money for that engine! I bought an edelbrock carb about 4 years ago, threw it on the car, then tossed it in the garbage. You can do alot better than that for 5,500 like the others said. Id steer clear of that motor, its not worth the money.

yeah you guys are right. I think i'm ganna say ***** it on the whole engine factory think....i might just take a 350 block and build it up....but i might still go with the 6sp conversion kit. i really wanna convert to manual.
