Question about the mufflers.
Plans for the car dont have an exhaust system anywhere. I was going to just dump headers or run zoomies out of the hood. Any tips on how I would still be able to run?

Its unchristian to muffle a big block. You are going to get in the way of God?

The rules posted above all up-to date for the bracket classes, and there is another thread for the rules for the heads-up class. These rules should not change between now and the day of the event.

Thanks for the info. I am planning on being there. Only rule I don't like is the electronics. An all motor class would be nice.

What our the prizes for winning elimination brackets? I already know the car show prizes, but what about winning your elimination bracket? Also, will there be a King of the Hill, where the four winners of each elimination class will race eachother? I think King of the Hill would be awesome. So, what prizes are there for winning your bracket?

i have a friend who has a stock t/a, and has a nitrous on it , the rules say that NO ELECTRONICS, so is the Jacobs box or the progressive box for nitrous ok, because they all retard the timing at the end of the 1/4 mile so it doesn't blow up. which with all nitrous systems they want you to do it so it doesn't detenate. for the bracket rule classes.hope this doesn't cause a problem, my friend told on this past sunday he couldn't race the bracket classes only the heads-up, because of the NO ELECTRONICS and that sucks. is he right or am i wrong. thanks.JR1

Sorry about the confusion. The no electronics rule only applies to the types of things that would help a bracket racer (delay boxes and such). A timing control box for ignition retard is perfectly legal, so tell your buddy that he is welcome to run in one of the bracket classes.
