Dyno???
hey gang,
we have been researching to get a mobile chassis dyno to the meet.
the idea would be to just get 3 power pulls, no tuning, to see who really puts up the big numbers.
one issue we are running into is that every company we have contacted requires a deposit. so we need to make sure that whatever gets charged will cover the cost of the dyno. to just break even it looks like it would be around $70 per car minimum and we would have to preregister all cars. that also would not include any trophies or prizes for those who put up the biggest numbers if you would be interested in that.
would a fee of $70 to $80 sound fair to you guys for 3 power pulls?
also, if anyone knows of any portable chassis dynos please get me their contact info so we can see if there is a better deal out there.

that is planning on the 22 cars that everyplace i have contacted will garauntee in the amount of time we have planned to be at the track.
figure a deposit of about 1500bucks + hotel accomodations for 2 nights and they will promise to hit at least 22cars.
everyone seems fairly confident that they can cover a lot more than 22 cars since f-bodies are "easy" get get on and off the machine.

time slots will have to be prepaid because i can't afford to front that kind of cash. i hope everyone understands.

i know i am a day late and a dollar short on this one, but Modern Muscle did a few shows in Dover DE. They were awesome. The price was not too bad. Maybe consider them next time? BTW my bone stock car put down 266.8RWHP and 314.5RWTQ on their dyno. It is a slick setup that have.

we won't have a dyno this year. seems with the late start we got tied up in hoping people found openings in their schedules for us.
based on all the positive feedback it will definately be a priority to set one up for next year.
sorry guys.

this port a dyno that modern muscle has is sweet. He added a hydraulic lift to the rig. All you do is drive up and he lifts you up then you roll on the rollers. i saw some very low cars get up there.

so what are you going to do without the Dyno, maybe something else, that burger sounded real tasty; i think your going to keep the burger for yourself, share it, think of something. (HOTTEST CHICK SPOTTED).JR1
