Thanks Everybody
hey gang,
i just wanted to thank everyone in advance for supporting this club and the event.
it has been a crazy year and we have gone through a lot of changes already. we did not accomplish everything that we wanted to this year, but with a stong membership base supporting the club we can easily accomplish more in the future.
the day of the event is the fun part. seeing everyone out there having a good time is a great reward for the effort that goes into creating the show. not having any annoying mustangs or ricers around to ruin teh fun is definately a huge bonus too.
i would like to send out a special thanks to PamperedZ. he put in a lot of time and effort to try to rally sponsors for the event. having his help definately made our prizes and give aways possible.
another big thankyou has to go out to the management and staff of island dragway. they are letting us use the facility based on faith in the idea and the club. we did not have to rent the track as we woudl have at any other facility.
thanks again gang. this has been a lot of fun. we will definately be able to plan bigger and badder for next year because of all of your support.
thanks
tim

Tim,
I'd personally like to thank you and Justin, and PamperedZ and everyone else that put so much work into the show. Although the weather was hot and hazy I still enjoyed myself as did everyone else I talked to. Keep up the good work...the club is going places.

yeah, thanks Tim and everyone who made it possible- loved watching the drags and looking at the showcars- did anyone hit a run lower than that 9.0 second run I saw? Anyway, I'm sorry I didn't get to meet any of you guys- hopefully in the future I'll be able to attend some more meets and get formally introduced and maybe have a beer or two. Anyway, had a blast, just wanted to say thanks and I'm lookin forward to next year!

I just got home... and I'm sunburned. Other than that, I had a great time. The ONLY, and I do mean ONLY thing I would have liked to have seen is some of the car show car's going down the 1/4. Other than that, it couldn't have been more fun. Great job for this events first relocation!

Next time I'll be ready to go down the track.

No MAF doesn't mean it isn't a 93 8) I can de-MAF a 94-95 (and 96-97 if converted to OBD-I).
