If anyone wants a copy I have the original hi res 2032x1354 I'll send you, just email me with the number found below the picture, hanchettcraig@hotmail.com. Oh I wasnt talking any particular car, infact I think I saw 3 different 14+ LS1.. Â*could be wrong but I know I have screeched 4th gear a number of times there and everyone I've talked too seems to run about .5 slower there because they spin and spin and spin.. See my times in sig, all at Island in the nice cool fall..
Dont get me wrong I'm not trying to bash the track or anything, you certainly can't ask for much more for a track of its size. Its nice to be able to just basically hot lap it if you want since the crouds are so small, its just discouraging knowing your not getting the best your car can do because its spinning every time you shift.

EVERYONE was running slow because of that heat. Give that SS a good day and I guarantee it will be running under 13.5's

There was a guy there that was running 13.9_'s all day and said last year he was running 13.2's I'd say the weather had a lot to do with it BUT some didn't show the effects. j0n got his best but he did have some more tuning and headers. Little G was running 3-4 tenths slower so I'd take whatever time you got and take off 3-6 tenths to get a more realistic time in STP (standard temperature and pressure for you non-geeks).

I know I should be running quicker than what I did, but it was also my first time to a track... and it sure is fun seeing LT1 verts in my mirrors
