injectors????

i think the only thing i havent changed over to 305 equip is the 350 injectors, the car is still running very rich and the 305 tpi injectors are 19lbs vs like 24 for the 350tpi. think this could be my remaining problem? i hoooooopppppppppe soooo but dont people usually add bigger injectors as a modification? itll be a year in january that i started this project!

Sorry, I'm not 100% sure of all that you've done to your car, so please give me some background.

Are you saying your running a 305 motor with 350 injectors? From your sig. It appears you also have headers + exhaust. What are you using as an ECM and tuning?

If it does stay a 305 and you have a stock ECM then I would say absolutely the 24LBers are causing it to run rich.

350 injectors + 350 chip = fuel for a 350...Not 305.
Get 305 injectors and give Prevost a call.

Same style, not sure of their flow rating? Normally stock injectors go for $25-$40. That what I sold mine for.

I have SVO 19 lb. injectors on my TPI 305. Jon Prevost said I should have gone with bigger injectors and he could compensate with the chip. Honestly, if you have 22 lb'ers on it now, I would just see if Jon (Fasterthanyou here on the board) can do a custom chip for ya. It's worth it, believe me!

ok well i just bought a stock 305 tpi chip n when that gets here ill pop it in n see what happens, im not really lookin to dump to much money into this as of now with the holidays comming and this is like the 3rd chip/ecm ive bought lol. if its still running rich ill invest in some low mile 5.0 injectors cuz the ones i have are 22 or 24lbers and have over 150k miles on em
