94 Custom Rear Noises

Okay, so i am the guy who completely destroyed the 95 z-28. went head to head against a deer, i won, but i took some battlewounds. The insurance gave me some money and i got a 94 Z-28, this car is pretty nice, but nothing like my first love. But anyway, the guy told me he completely re-built the rear and put some bigger gears back there. I dont have any problem with it all, going straight forward, but if i attempt to make a slow hard turn the rear makes a kinda slugging sound. And when i back up really slow it just makes you feel really bad, like its grinding itself. Honestly i have no idea, just wondering if someone can help me out. I am not a genius motorhead, thats why i ask you guys

can't hurt to pull the cover and take a look while changing the fluid and putting the additive in

My stock rear in the camaro made all kinds of weird noises before the thing finally went out on me. Ya may want to open that thing up like they all said and see whats going on.
