Engine swap and more 8/11-8/13
The T/A will run again soon...who wants to help?
Piscataway, NJ 08854...literally 4 minutes from the grease trucks, pm me for directions/address.
Looking at a start time of 9AM on Friday the 11th
To do list:
-Pull old engine
-Install new engine
-Hook up all wiring and hoses
-Pull old rear, drop gas tank
-Install new Fuel Pump
-Re-install gas tank, install new rear
-Get engine running(this one's important)
-Reset valve lash
-Modify single-cat catback to match up to an offroad y-pipe
-Have Derek get the thing to idle and drive without dying
I have all tools needed, but it wouldnt hurt if you brought your own socket set if you plan on stopping by. If you have extra air tools feel free to bring em as i have a 25gal compressor.
I can't promise food or beer to anyone who helps but I will greatly appreciate anyone showing up. Also, if you just want to come by to ******** and hang out feel free. Thanks in advance.
ninjaedit: If anyone has a power washer please bring it as id like to clean up the engine bay after the old engine is removed...thanks!
edit #2: New engine almost ready to rock...heres a couple teasers...

I'll be in Canada, not that I'd come anyways. Though I do work in New Brunny.

So are you looking for some definite people on the 11th? It could be a good excuse to take time off work.
