Speaker sizes?
Hey guys..
Anyone know the stock speaker sizes for a 93 trans am?
Its a 10 speaker system..not a monsoon or anything special.
I think it has 4 in the trunk area (2 big ones 2 small ones)
the two in each sail panel
and it has two in each door panel i think (2 big 2 small)
Any help on sizes would be appreciated, im not to big into car stereo stuff.
thanks
joe

I got 6 3/4 rockford fosgate componets in the front doors. 6.5 will work.
the sail panels are 6.5 inch subs. I left to stockers in mine
in the rear I beleve to be 4" on the mid ranges. I put 5 1/4 Cerwin Vega Componets in mine, but i had to trim alot and mount them a bit differently but I got them to fit

lose the speakers in the hatch, 4 6.5" speakers (2 in doors and 2 in hatch) and your golden.

i want to replace em, sound isn't as good as it could be..
i go to tun it up and the bass makes everything horrible

the grills come off if your doing just a speaker change. but if you have to rewire them, your gonna have to remove that whole panel, which is a kinda a pain
