"Other" Stupid sites~!!
...I need to vent.....So...I signed up on firebirdv6.com to try and sell my air lid...and I noticed a lot of things I dont like on their "club community"......
"Supporting Memberships now up
--------------------------------------------------------------------------
For those that are wanting PM's and avatars and sigs, we've turned on Supporting Membership. This is for those that have a want for some of the little things and don't mind paying a few dollars to help out the community. This is not that expensive and will not break any college kid. $10.00/year will get you:
• 200 Private Messages
• 65x65 Custom and uploadable avatar
• Text or image signatures (limited on size)
• Custom tag line under your name showing your Support to V6.com "
...Great...heh. So our methods of trying to raise funds for the club....ARE WAY BETTER!!!! Not to mention that this stuff is included in our free membership :0) Yay for Njfboa!!
Oh yeah...and another thing....I posted a question on where to find something and they moved my post all over the place!! I guess the admin's couldnt decide which category my question belonged....thats why I posted it in the LOUNGE!! Ugh.....Ok...now I am better!!

firebirdv6/camarov6 has been a joke site for a long time. just sick to fullthrottlev6.com if you need to sell or need any actual information, there are people there that actually know something.
BTW, we are looking into creating a program for supporting members, but it will be for fancy new privaleges in addition to all that you have come to know and love on the site, not just to get the things you shoudl expect to have on any discussion forum.

another site im on has a supporting member thing where you get an avatar, bigger PM box, access to a forum hidden to others, and some other stuff for whatever the cost of their membership package is. i didnt have to pay it, i do their calendar too, but i know the cost of running a website isnt cheap.

after saying this you mean that you've donated to the site. otherwise our methods of raising funds are no better, they just make tim and justin poor.

And it is not just the site. It is the NJFBOA club. The forum is a part of the club.

All I hear is Waaa waa waa, if you do not like it, go find another site.
Fullthrottlev6 spawned off firebirdv6.... granted, it is partly due to an admin who carried things too far is no longer associated w/ the site
I go to both sites and enjoy them. I post my technical findings on firebirdv6 though. I pay on firebirdv6, no where else.
Give me the link to your post, maybe I can see what happened.

Who would want to be a member of a v6 board anyway, let alone PAY for it? Jeez... some people!
