Island Dragway Rental 9/21/07

Saw this posted up at NastyZ28.

My friends and I want to rent Island Dragway (near Hacketstown, NJ) for the day on Friday 21 September 07. We are trying to get 12 people (the max allowed). We had 9 people for a different date, but due to people not getting cars finished, we had to push back. Now we only have 5 paid people.

The track for 2 lanes, from 10am-4pm cost $1600. So if we get 10 people that's $160/person. If we get 12, that's $133/person.

If you're serious, give me an e-mail @ misterluckies@yahoo.com. As I said, I have 5 friends who have already given me money, so the next 5-7 people to contact me by this Friday will be in.

Alex
That is all I know.

track rental

you can have up to 20 people #13 - #20 cost 50.00 each. if you get 20 people then divide the total by 20 and its not to bad for a day.

That could be the max allowed by the renter....not necessarily the max allowed by Island.

most likely its insurance reasons, though i don't deal with the insurance end of the track yet, but it probably goes up to a full days cost if there's more than x number of people racing. as well as the fact that rentals are run with a skeleton crew, and the more poeple you have at the track the more employees you need watching to make sure they don't do anything they're not supposed to.
