Show Field Suggestion

I don't recall if this was suggested or not, but would it be possible to back the show cars in at an angle, rather than straight back for 2008?

One little disappointment I had was an inability to get a decent shot of the convertible 89 TTA that was on the show field. Being 1 of 3, and at the Nats, made it a rare opportunity. Unfortunately the pics I took had too litte of the vert, and too much of the cars beside it.

Is it feasible to have angled parking so more of the front quarter of the cars can be seen at least?

Thanks!

Sure, actually a good idea.

BTW, you just volunteered for parking duties. Thanks Dave. LOL

I, er, well...

I don't mind helping, its the young kids and short time I spend there that would make me hesitate. We'll see the closer we get to it.

Bingo! So we'll start with one daughter turning the wheel while the other presses on the gas / brake as a parking team for all showfield cars.

"Hand over the keys sir, we'll take it from here. C'mere Hailey, you get the pedals this time...."

The show field this year was the best of the three years running. Two lines of cars stretching 100 yards of grass, parked side by side. I look forward to the show field since I'm more into style and comfort than speed and performance. Drawing a 1 of 3 car, the 89 vert TTA, is something special.

With any luck, we'll continue to build on both the racing list and show field list.
