speed traps ...?

anybody think it's worthwhile to start a thread (and make it a sticky) that lists all the known/new speed traps on our roads ...?

John,

While I am pretty sure it is not illegal to post this information, we do have police officers who view our pages and it might not be in the best interest of the club to do this. I'll see what the Admins think.

lol. that site must be a joke. it lists speed traps for ewing. lol
been in this town my whole life and hardly ever see anyone pulled over. i also drive past the spots they reference regularly and can't think of the last time i saw a cop at any of them.

you guys can discuss speed traps all you want, not gonna bother making it a sticky though. i would think the easier way to deal with speed traps would be to slow down to a reasonable speed, much less time consuming than refering to the internet to route plan or try to memorize all the places you are going to need to slow down anyway.

the one in roseland on 280 is pretty damn accurate. The only other one I know of is on Eagle rock ave. coming off laurel ave. towards the center of town. They sit in the median behind the welcome to roseland sign

Anyone going south on 1 and 9 off the pulaski sky way into Newark. Newark PD has been nailing people left and right in a speed trap their. Seen them almost everyday even on Holidays. Your going down the bridge and everyone automaticly speeds up and he is at the bottom waiting for you.
