upgrading to a 4th gen rear? E-Brake Help...

I just bought a rear out of a 01 ws6 withabs and no traction control. It comes with the disc brakes. I have asked many people what else i would need and what cable i need to atttach to the ebrake. Ive looked on TGO but reading that stuff just confuses me. If anyone on here as went from 3th gen rear to fourth gen rear please help.

Its going on my 85 T/A if that means anything.

the cables dont exist. You have to fudge something together, im in the same boat right now.
a way to do it would be to use the factory 4th gen calipers, remove the body mounts in the trans tunnel for the cables and weld them on in a more appropriate location. I may go this route it ed's plans dont pan out.

ebmiller, ed, on TGO has been trying to get a batch produced for a couple years now and so far nothing....

you are right...you need 01 e-brake cables, and like you said, remove the body mount and move it forward. Keep in mind, removing that body mount will leave a hole.

that hole doubles as a seat belt mount, so you will need to fix that as well.
