Hooters Race Night, this Thursday 4/24

I just checked the Dave Adams Motorsports site and the Hooters Race Night starts this month, this week. Weather looks decent so I think I'll plan on heading over.

Hooters in Bensalem PA(on Street Rd just off Rt 1) has a cruise night the last Thursday of every month from Apr - Oct. They call it Race Night. It's like a car show with trophies given out and they have stuff going on like the portable dyno, dunk tank(in warmer weather), DJ all outside. It's a good time.

It's off Rt 1 and Street Rd but it's not too far from Bristol, maybe 10-15 minutes at the most.

No, look for a black 70 SS396 Camaro. The sooner you get there the better. Since this is the first of the season it may not be too crowed but the weather is great so there may be a good turnout. I'm heading over right after work so that would be around 5:30-6 timeframe. They usually wind things up around 8:30-9.

Wow, what an awesome turnout for the first cruise night of the year. They had the portable dyno(I think a new LS7 Z06 Corvette put down 505 hp to the wheels and a slightly modified SRT8 Dodge put down around 365-370 to the wheels. Well over 200 cars which beat any turnout for all of last year. And hters everywhere as well! And I forgot to bring the trophies to display in front of my car!

I was there, saw your car, but never saw you.

I eventually pulled in and parked next to a guy that had a JGC SRT-8, cool dude. Met and chatted w/ another Fbody owner, said he's not on here though.

The Z06 put down 459/429 and the SRT-8 put down 355. The SRT 8 won a trophy, not sure which one. But wow, what a turn out. If I'm off, I think I'm gonna have to make it a regular thing!

Yeah, I got stuck inside for a while getting food, then walked around to look at the cars and watched a couple on the dyno. I was only near my car for maybe 20 minutes. Yeah, the SRT8 next to me won a trophy. He was a cool guy to talk to. Too bad the Flyers lost in OT after a lame penalty call resulted in a tying goal with 28 seconds left, that ruined the night! At least it was only game 1. It's a good cruise night to hit each month so if the weather looks good, I always stop by.

The Flyers suck. They've been doing this ***** all year. Outplay the other team all game and then give up the lead in the last minute. I'm getting so sick of seeing it... I went home after they scored knowing I'd make it home in time to see OT, only to find out it was over already cause they let them score 46 seconds in. I hate being such a diehard philly fan. Have yet to see a championship in my life....
