LT1 vs. LS1 k-member

what's the difference? and why can't an LSx motor be put into an lt1 car without changing the k-member

apples & oranges. you might be able to use yours if you want to fab stuff up, maybe modify the oil pan, etc (I don't know the true difference, just speaking in hypotheticals), or you could get the part GM made for you (or aftermarket equivalent). To put the LS1 in my 67, I will need engine adapter plates and a modified oil pan and special headers (at this point all of whicj I can make or buy). Sure it fits right in, but actually bolting it in and making it work are different.

I'll sell you a stock one cheap. LOL

Feather-light suspension, Konis just couldn't hold. I'm so glad I took a look inside your showroom doors.
