FINALLY got my truck!
Finally went and picked it up. It's a 2006 Silverado Z71 with the 5.3 and it's awesome. I love it already! Here's the dealer pics, soon I'll take some of my own.

sweet ride, my friend has the same thing except white. is it fully loaded? 5.3's move to say the least. my friends truck roasts the tires all the time. tons of torque.
Good luck with it!

It's not fully loaded, its got the bench seat in the front and cloth, has pretty much everything else though. I was surprised how much torque the 5.3 has, I actually spun the tires on my way home from the dealer, I thought those days were over when I sold the TA.

Very nice, I have an 08 with a 5.3, its a great truck. I keep mine in auto most of the time, they do break the tires loose very easy. Good luck with it.

I think I might have looked at that truck a few months back, but I wanted leather. The 5.3 is a great motor! My 99 had 185K on it and it still ran great. I traded it in November on my new truck (05 that came off lease) again with the 5.3. If you do allot of Highway driving invest in a Tonneau cover, I normally do 300+ highway miles a week and with the Tonneau I'm getting over 21 MPG.

Yeah that would be a worthwhile investment, I think I'm already doing better on mileage than I did with my TA. My only problem is that the lights on the dash aren't working in the radio and a/c controls. That's no biggie and covered under warranty so I'm happy.

Oh, and does anyone know how to remove pin striping? I really don't like the pin striping on it.

Congrats, I got the same truck but black. And yeah, it'll roast the tires no problem, I have to remind myself it's my work truck when I start thinking about modding it.
The pin-stripe should come off with some heat, either use a heat gun (Go easy) or wait for a warm day. Use your fingernail to scrape it off and then pollish it. If its painted, warm day, compound, 12 pack, case of elbow grease, and a can of man if your running low.
