Dash Harness Wireing

yea i was wondering if a dash harness from an 87 camaro that was carb would work for a TPI engine harness, if all the sensors and lights will be ok with the dash, the dash came out of my 87 iroc that came 4 bbl carb that was special order from the factory.

and the engine harness is from an 88 firebird, and the headlight harness is from an 88 iroc.

Im pretty sure the dash harness is slightly different. I know that my 92 Camaro dash harness that was a TBI car is a different dash harness than a Camaro with TPI from the same year. I know deffinetly the firebird harness is different and is not plug and play. I had a GTA TPI harness that I was going to use for my car and I couldnt use it.

yea when i had the 88 firebird engine harness in my 88 with the org dash it worked fine, but the dash wiring was nasty from the car sitting all the years ago, mice and stuff, when i got my 87 i took the dash out because i did a 91-92 TPI and dash swop so i wanted to use the dash from the 87. I know that org carb carbs might have had some different wiring i just wanted to make sure if it would work or not.

for the rest of yous...the main difference is the aldl connector, and that square plug for the injectors and fan power. There are one or two more wires that need to be repinned on the dash harness for the tpi to work correctly but other than that its bascially the same.
