Saw this funny description on ebay...

throwing in the corvette engine thing is usually for the dimwitted buyers but the seller is so damn dumb i dont even know where to begin with this ad. I like the color simply because iv never seen that color in covertable myself before, wouldnt buy it tho.

Absolutely! And my 1989 S10 has an 2.8L V6 firebird engine

bright purple metallic was a 98 only color. super rare. also very nice in person.
