I'm def. going to be there, anyone else going? oh and if you've never been to a danzig show it's pretty awesome, the band plays a ton of misfits songs and a few samhain songs.

Danzig puts on a great show. I've seen him a few times over the years. In matter of fact, the first time that I saw him was when they opened up for Metallica back in 94

Wow funny you should post this. I happen to be quite in the music loop with the NJ punk / horror punk scene and congratulations you bought yourself tickets to the Misfits 95 lineup reunion show. Its a very big deal to fans of the 90's Misfits. In fact I know people from Germany and California coming to see that show.
Doyle, CHUD, and MICHALE GRAVES will be doing a 15 song new age (IE 95-2000) Misfits set together for the first time in 10 years. Obviously Jerry Only is off doing his own horrible show and still calling it The Misfits so he wont be there lol.

Is this a shot at those that like the Misfits after Danzig left? Cause if ya really wanna get into it it was a different band sharing members that adopted a name and stage theme, thats all.

well the Misfits is one thing, but again, I don't really like the Misfits with all different people either. Samhain was blah anyway. Then Danzig. Danzig without Glen Danzig just sounds silly.

Anyone with about 3 days of musical knowledge can play Misfits songs, but you can never get the same quality of vocals without Danzig. I love going to see Danzig because you get to hear certain songs the way they were meant to be heard, without Jerry Only butchering it. Samhain was more of a transitional band, you get to see how the music went from horror punk to more of a metal/bluesy sound. Who said anything about no Danzig??? lol

Samhain you ever heard of Gotham Road? They're a metal spinoff with the second lead singer of The Misfits from the 90's Michale Graves. If you like punk and metal you'll probably dig them. Well if you can get over that huge Danzig fan hurdle of listening to something from the other Misfits singer
Btw they're playing a reunion show new years eve.

I like the graves era stuff, i have the famous monsters and american psycho albums. My only gripe is the recent Jerry Only abomination, I went to the Halloween show at starland 2 years ago, it was terrible. I have never left a show early before that day. Don't even get me started on project 1950, that was an epic fail of a record lol

Yep I was there. The only reason I went was to see Graves play with them. Danzig got jealous of the crowd response and had them cut them half way through their set.
