Will Subframe Connectors affect ride Quality and Drag Racing/ 3rd Gen?
Thinking about getting a set of subframe connectors installed on my 3rd Gen Formula. I already have a Hotchkis Strut Tower support Bar and an IROC Wonderbar with Edelbrock LCA and Panhard Bar. I will also be getting a set of Eibach Pro Springs soon. The questions are (1) will it stiffen the ride qualities (2) difference between bolt-on and welded and do they help with traction at a drag strip?

they will make the car ride a lot quiter, and you will notice the car feels stiffer in turns

There isn't a single drawback to putting them on. It doesn't matter the power level or what model you have...even V6 car should get them.
It'll stiffen the car up a lot, it'll feel tighter. If you launch hard off the line you'll probably leave a little straighter.

but whatever ones you buy, weld them in, the bolt in ones will loose their effectiveness overtime as the holes elongate.

I agree with the above statements. Mine quieted down most of the annoying rattles and squeaks my car had. Definitely feels more solid. And yes....weld them in. Even if you want to get bolt on's for the installation ease and then have them welded after.

I have bolt in connectors....basically havent got around to welding them in. They were somewhat noticeable with stiffening up the ride, and made it quieter. I usually retorque the bolts every 3 months when I notice some noise. They also make a nice jacking point, and very impressive to see the entire car go up when only a corner is lifted. Definitely a nice mod.

If you buy a bolt-on set for 3rd Gens, do you have to drill any holes? On the passenger side does the exhaust system have to be dropped? Do they hang any lower or scrape on anything? Thanks for the advice so far!

Defiantly use them. Sub frame connectors are only improving handling, structure, and traction.

All of the above is true (of course) with one thing to note.
MAKE SURE THAT THEY ARE INSTALLED CORRECTLY.
You do not want to preload your suspension or add funky wedge or anything like that. Follow the instructions to the letter.
