Slight pop and sputter

I've been having an issue where when I quickly hit the gas my car will pop out of the intake and sputter for a split second. I'm thinking it might be a valve just a weee bit too tight. Any other ideas of what could be causing it.

Hmm. Could be a Vaccum Leak Causing you to run lean. Or it could be because of a spark issue. Check plugs , Wires , Coil and Opti. Is your car pulling any codes by chance?

For once, no. My plug wires are good, the opti has under 1k on it(will be an LTCC setup soon), and the coil is fairly new too..I had a huge ground issue with the coil causing me to sputter at higher RPMS, but thats fixed now.
