Silly Mustang, EFI race is for GM cars only. I'm actually taking the weekend off from racing. Good luck, be safe, and have fun.

Well ,I went and I was kicked out .I hate E-town My helmet didnt meet the snell specs for faster than 13.99 . The tech inspector said I could do 1 full run and hit the brakes on the rest of the runs . The jerkoff tech in the staging lane took my card and said 1 run and go home . ( he wasnt nice about it either ) No hitting the brakes .
On my run I didnt even get it up on the conveter .As soon as I staged ,the tree started .Hooked ok in 1st ,it spun a little when it shifted into 2nd .LOOOONG ass chirp . At least I slaughtered a yellow 2000ish mustang GT by about 10 car lengths . He was telling me how well his car runs on "all motor" with his 433 gears .
R/T - .177 ( sleeping )
60 - 1.97
1/8 - 8.4
1/4 - 13.16 @106.5 mph

Yeah , Its my own fault . E town is a lot closer to me than Atco though . Atco is 53 miles and E town is 31 miles . Im getting nitrous too . You need a fire jacket for ANY power adder . Aftermarket turbo ,super charger or N2O.

Nice I'm thinking about a 3600 but really am skeptical about putting it in on the stock tranny even with a good cooler. How do the gears feel I saw you upgraded from 2.73s. I think I am going with 3.42s. Love those rims btw.

Im putting a 4k stall in my stock trans ( 96K) . So Ill see how it holds up. I plan on changing the fluid every other oil change . @ every 6000 miles or so .The gears worked out well .Picked up .3 tenths . At I think I should of went with 342s and a 3600 stall though . Not sure if the 373s and 4K converter will be too much for the N2O ? 1 way to find out .

they told you that you needed a full face helmet? I use an open face helmet at etown, it's good up to 11.50. Must be the Snell rating?

I believe you need a full face when running any aftermarket power adder (just like you need to wear a fire jacket).

They continue to get more and more strict with the racing equipment each year. You used to be able to get away with an open face helmet and sometimes even lie about not having an aftermarket power adder when you did. Now they check pretty thoroughly, I can't blame them. You do need a Snell approved helmet and fire jacket if you have an aftermarket power adder.
I'm planing on going this Friday the 23rd.
