Smithville GM Car Show June 6

Just wanted to let everybody know that my Vette club is having their GM car show again June 6 at Smithville, NJ. As in the past the show is open only to anything GM powered.

What type of judging do you use and what are the classes and awards?

The judging is done by club members and is based more on condition then originality. We are not overly critically, our main purpose of the show is just for everyone to have a good time. Most of our members are into cars other then Corvettes, for example I have f-bodies, Oldsmobiles and am into Street Rods, so I wind up judging one of those classes. One member is into Corvairs, another ElCaminos and Sprints, etc.

Is the show right inside the Smithville shopping center and is it on blacktop?

Yes it is on both sides of the bridge. The Village of Smithville and The Village Greene. It is ONLY on blacktop. The lots are open only for our show cars. I forgot to mention that none of our club members cars are eligible for awards. They are listed on the windshields as "Club Cars" on display only. Also, no club members take part in any drawings or door prizes.
