First Gen Wheels and Tires

Can any first gen owners tell me what wheel and tires sizes they are running on their cars? I just got my first 69 Camaro and want to change the aftermarket rims and tires off and put something stock on.

Thanks

I believe the originals were 14x6 or 15x7 depending on your options package...but you may want to wait for verification from some of the other guys.

http://www.camaros.org/suspen.shtml#Wheels

So you'd probably want 15x7 Rally Rims.
15X7 Wheel Vintique's Rally 4.5 " backspacing
F 215/60/15 R 245/60/15
235/60/15 seem to be a popular choice as well

14" SS Wheels look better IMO. You can probably get larger diameter versions now. Tires are getting hard top get in 15s. This guy is running 245/60/14s all around.

15x7 Ralleys seem to be pretty standard.
