i think gm is trying to represent themselves as a family company though with a family of cars. thats why they show most of their models in most of their commercials. most car companies have been doing this too. just an observation.
Just watched that commercial, at first i was liking it, then it hit me... the engine noises are from other youtube videos LOL

for example in the vid you provided, 0:02-0:10 are the same as this video featuring a 2000 Camaro SS w/ MS3 cam etc etc http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=1GpzCrzT7iQ

skip to 1:22 - 1:33 and compare for yourself.
