Ordered a new car
So.... I was sitting there on my lunch break....killing time by going through all the inventory of new cars.... and I ordered a new car. It is scheduled to arrive at work early next week.... so I'll have it in a couple weeks.
2011 C300 Luxury
I think it has a black exterior and tan interior.... I actually don't remember
V6 POWA!
228 HP
221 TQ
A7
P1 Package (4 way lumber support, sirius sat radio, garage door opener, compasss in the rear view mirror, auto dimming mirrors, power drivers seat and steering column with memory, rain sensor, rear window shade, split folding rear seats
Heated seats
I soooooooooooooo wanted the 450 watt harmon kardon stereo system and navigation.... but that was only available in a Sport 4-matic model... and my neck/ back needs the nice soft ride of the luxury model to help with healing up.
Yay for new car!

Yup - this is the base V6.... but should run high 14's
There is the 350 engine (two versions)
268 HP and 258 TQ in almost all models....very low 14's for this one
305 HP and 265 TQ in the SLK.... high to close to mid 13's for this one
The performance V6 "350" engine will be getting an upgrade next year I think - it should make 305+ hp
Madness - that's the dynamic seats - it is awesome!

Benz is gunna show thier new Direct Injection motor in the CLS that kind of squeeked out onto the internet yesterday. Also, a twin turbo 4.5 liter V8 and the 5.5 TT motor to replace the 6.2 AMG motor.

I'm suprised Al hasent tried to persuade you to buy a Chevy over a Benz, since Chevy seems to be stepping up their game lately.

Benz definitely makes nice cars. Maybe it was Al's influence, but we chose a CTS instead as our new car. The one thing that really sold us was the service. My father had tried to get an oil change for our Audi the day before. No one in the area had a oil filter for it and the dealer wanted an appointment. That should never be a problem for the CTS which is likely going to get dino oil anyway. The cheaper cost of ownership was a big factor as well. I think different people want different things from cars. I wouldn't have chose the CTS but for my pops, it works perfectly. I wouldn't say either is better, but just better for a person. Good luck with it james. Avoid the potholes for the sake of your back man.
Not our actual car, but same color and wheels.
