New gal from York, PA
Hey, I was directed here by my good friend nj85z28. I'm more involved in Camaroforums.com though. I'll probably be looking around here for awhile. Just thought I'd say Hi.
Here's some info about my car:
1998 3.8 Invested so far-$7K+
Engine 2,500 miles, body 132,000 miles.
Rebuild work consists of: All new gaskets, GT1 Comp cam, lifters, port and polished intake, 21 lb fuel injectors, piston rings, new timing chain and tensioner, reman heads, BMR strut tower brace, everything cleaned and painted black and pink, neon pink wire looming, heater hose setup from v6fixit.com
Other work: custom interior, LED accents, angel halo headlights, 93-96 tail light swap (wired correctly), Pacesetter headers, SLP CAI, Magnaflow muffler with dual tail pipes and 3.5 inch chrome tips, modded airbox lid, baffle delete, lowered 1.5"-2", MSD wires, NGK plugs, added SS scoop, smoked front and rear side markers with LED bulbs, pink Corvette Grand Sport-inspired fender stripes, black nose badge, pink painted front and rear 'Camaro' letters, custom L36 rear badge, Sony Xplode 800w amp with 2 Kicker 10" subs, Pioneer speakers, JVC head unit, manual shift knob with shift boots, firmer trans shifts
Future: turbo build

She does have them. It's actually an acrylic enamel. Those white inlays sucked and started peeling off. Just haven't updated the pic yet.

Lol yup. Haven't met him, we've been talking about getting a small mini-meet together sometime though. He's a cool guy, definitely a good admin at Camaroforums. I did an Illustrator renderring for him because he gave me some free/discounted shirts.

Yes that's me. I'm actually not sure if I have close-ups of them, I'd have to look. It's a half sleeve, but it's not quite done yet. Sofie likes to use up all my money.

Welcome to the club!
Do you race the car at all, or just enjoy having a little more power under your right foot than the stock 3.8 provided?

No racing yet. I wanted to hit the track this year for a test and tune, but my engine decided it was going to get worse and I had to park her and rebuild before it was destroyed and unusable. I was hoping after the build I could try for the track, but too many things still needed fixed. Now I have a lifter problem (they were all brand new with the rebuild) so I apparently got a defective lifter or something. Before hitting the track next year I'm hoping to get her rear done (3.90 gears) and a badly-needed tune. I'm more curious as to what kind of quarter she'll run. Racing will be saved for the turbo build.
