anyone in the hamilton area good with car wiring/electrical work or know a shop. One of the wires is grounded somewhere, no windows, rear lights or interior lights, blows a fuse immediately when replaced. Car is gutted so prob won't be too hard a job

The tail light fuse is the only fuse that keeps blowing? Have you tried ohming out from the fuse out side to the tail light socket?

I have seen the socket itself short if you physically don't see a short in the wire. If the car is gutted like you said should be easy. Like they said ohm or check resistance from the output put of the fuse to the inlet connector of the socket. Should have no resistance or very little resistance. Like .02 ohms. If you get nothing there check it from the fuse outlet to the outlet of the socket if it jumps it is the socket it self. To double check just go across the out let and see if you get a close or same reading

If it is the outlet of the fuse to the inlet of the socket
You can also check the wiring by probing or findingg connectors till it reaches the socket as check point.

Sorry if that is confusing I'm terrible at explaining and I'm on my phone. Il keep on checking at your up dates
