bought new car, gonna try out SS class

I haven't even gotten the car yet (still in transport from texas) but I already ordered koni's and hotchkis front swaybar from Strano

Then to find some stock or lightweight wheels and hoosiers, alignment and corner balance and then see how I do against the big boys

Sweet car, and good call removing/selling the blower. Can't wait to see it on the road course!

i'm all over the map. change my mind daily.
But the M3 wasn't hard core enough for me. Wanted something more raw.
Was going to buy a pure track only machine actually because was sick of the compromise of using a street car on the track. But then I found this and always wanted an electron blue Z06 so I got it for a good deal so I'll have some fun with it.

don't need the power for autocross and road course. will also increase under hood temps on the track.

All of the guys over at Thrust Performance were talking about this car when I was there today. They were saying how much of an animal it is

Yea Mike is the man. He is currently rebuilding my T56 and your car came up in conversation while I was there checking on the progress of my car.

took the car on the road course (MMC) and it fluid boiled over slightly when I parked it after flogging it for 25 minutes. The undertray air diverter thingy was off and that is needed on these cars to divert air to radiator/intake area. no biggy. Got it back on and all good now.

Got it detailed, removed side tint, body side moldings, installed hotchkis front sway and koni adjustables, raised ride height up slightly (used to be slammed) and alignment and sold the blower and the repro c6 wheels and put on OEM z06 wheels that were chromed.

Sent out the ABS/traction control module to be fixed (code 1214) to a dude on ebay for $50. No ABS on the road course was fun
