Where to find Rocker Panel Molding Screws?

I'm looking for the rocker panel molding screws for my 68 Firebird, mine rotted away but the molding is still in good shape. I'd like to get regular stainless ones from the home depot, but they rotted out so much they broke apart the minute I got them off the car. None of the catologe companies seem to have just the screw kit, and google and eBay have been pretty much useless.
The only company I've found that has them is called The Poorman's Off Chassis Restoration www.tpocr.com but I've never heard of them before. Has anyone used them before?

Do you know if they sell the kits individually I'd rather not spend $200 on a kit that'll cost $11 for 14 screws.

try PY forum, see if anyone there knows.

do you have a factory assembly manual? that should have OE part numbers you can cross ref and maybe even the screw size.

Yes the 2 screws on the ends and the 5 (I think) self tapping screws underneath. I'll try the PY Forums when I get home.
If I can find the right sizes I'll just get them from Home Depot.

Use some anti-sieze and maybe it will protect more against corrosion.

I'm going to clean up the bottom anyway, since the drivetrain and the front fenders are off the car. But if it helps even a little I'll do it.

It looks like the self tapping sheet metal screws could be any size and any thread pitch (they go directly into the body). They never said what size or thread pitch the 4 screws on the ends were. So I'll just grab a couple of different lengths and figure it out that way.

Yeah, sometimes that's the way things go. Unless it's a 100 point concours restoration it doesn't really matter.

Concours Restoration this car is not, nor will it probably ever be. I'd like to enjoy and "properly abuse" this car. So if I can get away with using slightly cheaper stuff w/o affecting the performance, look, or structural integrity then I will.

i dont know if they would be the same as vette rocker mldg screws or not, i had a couple of mid seventies vetts not long ago. i had ordered a screw kit for some of the mldgs and such, ill see if i still have them with the rest of my left over parts.
