1986 Camaro Sport Coupe

In process of restoring 1986 camaro sport. Just got painted. Hoping for engine swap this summer from the 2.8 to 350. What has been done so far. Clutch, t-5 trans replaced, water pump, fuel pump, fuel filter, starter, maf, distributor, belts, heater core, radiator, timing, ball joints, brake lines. Also, coil spacers for the n15-50 tires, side piped and tints. Starting on interior now.

Welcome..not too shabby. Justs a note the bellhousing is not the same for a 2.8 to a v8 setup so some work is needed to make that t5 work w/the new setup. Also the non wc 5spd handles about 300 rwhp..if your not too hard on the t5 w/the clutch drops and all it will suffice on a 400hp motor w/careful driving...but some run t5's hard and never have issues....and i think mel gibson drove your car in madmax...lol.

Plus those pro-tracs won't hook at all. So I think you'll be ok.

Really? I took a slightly beaten non WC T5 and chewed it apart pretty quickly with a very mild 350.
