Go Date

Ok guys, because we are still working on a front page for the site, as well as doing some tweaking to the forums (you'll prolly see some new things over the next week), we have decided to wait until Aug. 10th at the CJCFO meet to 'go public' with the site.

Please don't start telling people about it until that date.

Now that that's out of the way, do any of you have any suggestions for either the forums, the front page, or other ideas?

- Justin

Well I need a forum where I can discuss various V6 topics with myself. I think it would be awfully amusing for the other members.

I agree. Haha. I can talk about my boat anchor and how poor i am to do anything with it.... unless tim wants to rebuild that turbo for me....

and anyway, there's 3 V6 people on now... although only you're the only Fbody, craig. maybe the other two don't help then. But a forum may draw more members.

We are planning on adding a v6 forum, but we want to have a few more members that will use it first. If Craig had a thirdgen v6 (2.8 or 3.1 60degree block), he would be able to talk tech with you guys, but it's a very different platform.

well, judging by the number of threads about her in the last 3 days, we'll probably need a separate forum for all kelly-related issues

i kind of like the layout as is. nice and simple. there's plenty of tech forums out there, i like to think of this one as a "local help", and "hang out with other car guys in your area" forum

Maybe break the Tech forums up among generations or something of the like??

Front page would be nice to see a collage of each gen as the opener.

See our thread in the News and Support area for the club logo design contest. Even if you can't draw, go ahead and jot down some ideas for someone else to design.

The front page was tossed together in haste, it will be evolving a lot over the next few weeks as I continue to brush up on my coding skills....I'm def. rusty.
