help deciding on tire size...

decided to go with 18's this time around when i finish my car. gonna do a 18x11 in the rear with 18x9.5 up front... pretty standard for 4th gen. but question is do i go with a 315/35 or 315/30... i cant decide. both will work fine on my car. the 35 is 26.7 tall and the 30 is 25.4 tall... stock tires run about 25.5 tall. so do i go with a little thicker sidewall and hope that it doesnt look goofy or go with the thinner sidewall and hope it doesnt look goofy. definitly dont like the rubber band tire look, but also dont want to look like i have truck tires on the car either. thoughts? input appreciated. just somthing to add that car is lowered alot but if go with the 30 series tire will probably have to lower the rear a tad more just to get it to sit the way i want. if i go the 35 ill probably have to raise the front up a tad (have coil overs so no big deal). car has slight rake and dont want the raked look.

315-30-18 and 275-35-18 have about the same sidewall, 31535-18 will be about an inch taller and from what I understand is a harder to find size.

so i guess nobody is running 315's on 18's? the selection in the 35 series is very limited as stated above but think they would look better... if not my car is gonna scrape everywhere... lol

I think the 35 would look fine. I know mine aren't that big but I am running a 295/35/18.

yea the 295/35 is 26 in tall... and the 315/35 is 26.5 in so its pretty insignificant.. but its looking like the only tire i can run on the rear if i go that size is a toyo drag radial... which isnt a problem beause i dont put alot of miles on but i also dont need drag radials on the car cause i wont be racing it. no one seems to make a street tire in that size.. i also like my front and rear tires to match as far as tread patterns and stuff goes.. little OCD thing i got going

315/30 in a bfg drag radial or the g-force rival.... i will say this, you'll need a bfh with 315's anyway. my 295's rub when she squats. i'm looking at upping it to a 315 in hopes that that gives me traction..
