Tried a coil I had laying around, still no start. Have 12 volts at the coil but its not getting any spark. FYI the brand new distributor is an Accel that I had laying around but idk that it would have died that quickly.

He had an Accel dizzy be intermittently bad right out of the box. A module was de-soldering itself when it got hot and then re-soldered itself when it cooled or something like that.

THAT is how you troll someone. But I digress.

So it gets fuel but spins and spins? Is it flooded? Are you getting any spark?

I didnt know that, and I didnt know they were THAT crappy, had no isses at all until it stalled, my GM one was questionable so I used the new one instead. It does flood yes, just spins and spins, no spark at all.

I had an Accel coil go bad after ~130 miles.

Time to start chasing wires I guess.

Good rule of thumb: If it says Accel on it, don't buy it. If you did, throw it away.

I have all accel stuff on my Nova, plugs, wires, cap/rotor, and coil on a GM dizzy with no issues whatsoever.

The accel module fell appart in my hands when I un-bolted it and the module I put in looks like its older then dirt but it says made in usa on it and it works. Go figure, didnt think accels stuff could be that crappy.
