Thirdgen LT exhaust questions

I know for a while the hooker long tubes and muffled y pipe was the only option for thirdgens has anything better came on the market? How much did the muffled y pipe have to get cut up to fit? How much ground clearance would I expect with this combo on a stock ride height car?

definitley i would reccomend a set of DYNO DON's headers custom build for our cars mid length headers and y-pipe i forget price look up dyno don on thirdgen.org
