Honda EU3000is Generator

I bought this new after my basement sump pump project thinking I'd need the extra wattage to run the pump, but our smaller EU2000i runs it easily. It's only been run at the dealer in Hackettstown and at my house by the electrician to test the transfer switch, we haven't had a power outage since then.

Purchase price was $1949 back in November 2012, it has a 3 year warranty from that date and the manual clearly states that the warranty applies to "all subsequent owners during the warranty period."

Comes w/ manual, original purchase receipt, and Honda storage cover shown in the pictures. At 2.8KW nominal output and 3KW surge it will run enough appliances to keep things livable and the next-door neighbor's only burned 4-5 gallons per day running 24hrs continuously after Sandy.

Our older EU2000i ran our fridge, central hot water baseboard natural gas heat, TVs, a few lights, and the Mr. Coffee with a little load management for 12 days after Sandy and 5 days after the 2011 snowstorm. They are both extremely quiet and fuel efficient.
