struts or shocks???

hey guys i ahve a 91 camaro rs v6 3.1 auto. im kinda confused as to if i have shocks or struts? whats the diffrence? im about to order 2 new ones cause my car is currently lop sided and rocck auto is giving me an option for shocks or struts .... which ones do i have? im doing the driver side front and back . i think its shocks in the back and struts up front?

Springs control ride height, shock/struts control rebound. Replace in pairs front & rear.

Struts and shocks will do nothing for ride height issues, even if they are completely blown. Their main function is to dampen the spring movements.

Old sagging springs would most likely be the cause of your ride height issues.
