I agree!

after a day of tuning a new pump is required and truck alternator and long term some 3.90s

otherwise the car has amazing driveability and pulls hard and still has more left in it.

So after a long saturday we put in the new racetronix fuel pump with hotwire kit and extra ground strap.
Wasn't a terrible install once we got everything out of the way but it was still something I don't want to do again anytime soon.

While going together I put in this little beauty I picked up the week before, a slightly used moser 12 bolt with 3.9x gears with a truetrac with welded LCA relocation brackets. This rear woke the car right up and did exactly what I needed it to.

After that we finished everything up by installing the higher output truck alternator.

Finally ready for the final tune, some dyno numbers and some track time

Very nice build! Can't wait to see some numbers.

Off topic: Please explain your shop floors, are those bricks?! Or just floor that's made to look like brick. I've never seen or worked in a shop with that kind of flooring, I'm intrigued haha.

Doing the final tune the 28th this month.

It is a BMW thing that they made all dealers do years ago. Its called clinker tile. All I know is it is super hard and I think 9$ a square foot.

Who did the motor and tune?

Gothcha, looks good. Just took me off guard. I'm assuming it's slip resistant, looks like it'd be slick when you spill fluid. Germans; always gotta be different.

Complete opposite of slip resistant. Incredibly dangerous lol

The machine work was done by a shop in Pearl River. I did the assembly and install. Tune was done by a member here. Xrelapse or something like that.
