What's up guys. I live near Newton NJ. This spring, I bought myself a 2000 SS with some SLP goodness. Dang that car is fun to drive. Haha. I'm planning on doing some modding in the near future. I'm doing C5 brakes, headers, probably a ram air setup as well. If you live near me, hit me up if you need help with something or if you want to wrench on something at my place. I have a few projects going on pretty much all the time.

Check out the monthly meet on October 11th. We will be a short drive away at Island Dragway. Hope to see you out there.

Thanks guys! I plan to be at Island. Hoping to do C5 big brake kit before then. On the stock brakes it's a little hairy coming down from 100 MPH. Haha.

Our (98-02 Fbbody) brakes are not bad at all... possible its a poor set of pads or glazed rotors you have.

Anyway! Welcome!

Yeah I wouldn't doubt it. But for 125$ for the brackets and tons of pad/rotor options I think its a good investment.

The big brake set up will change the feel a lot. It will be a lot easier to get it to the point that you can really feel the ABS kicking in.
