exhaust shop

does anyone have any recommendations for an exhaust shop that can weld me an exhaust for my iroc? nothing crazy, my y-pipe from the headers down is is good condition i would just need a "intermediate pipe" made with a muffler to the before the axle. mild steel, but muffler and over axle is stainless, everything is 3in. looking for central jersey.

thanks for recommendations!

Not exhaust exclusive shop but try Ideal Garage in Fords. Idealgaragellc.com or 732738_1566.

C2 Race Development in Clifton, ask for CJ.

My car is currently up there for true duals.

Tell him Rob sent you, he's a good guy and will take care of you.

EDIT* Stay far far away from this guy.

Mufflex charged me almost 500 for a 3" stainless off road y. If that influences any decisions

Ive used both Fuccello's and Mufflex. Both are good shops. Fuccelo's tends to be easier to deal with and more reasonable in prices. Can't argue with Mufflex's work though but would only go there for custom work...something easy like a muffler or cat I'd just go to Fuccello's on Arena Dr.

Yup, a bunch of guys I went to high school with ended up having him do exhaust work for them on their trucks and Stangs. We're going back a bit here but, from what I remember, everything looked very clean and I doubt remember hearing any complaints or groaning from anyone...
I have no first hand experience to share though.

Care to elaborate?

A little late to the party but Mufflex did my header back system in 2007. I'm very happy with it and thought the price was fair.

OHH. That makes sense. I thought that's who did his current car.

Ant at 16w did my exhaust and all future fab work. My car is actually there right now for chassis bracing as well as some other minor things.

CJ still to this day owes me over $3,000, (i'm far from the only one, and have received calls from many other people who are trying to track him down), the brand new windshield that was on the car when it went there was gouged and cut up and had to be replaced after (minor trifles compared to everything else).

Not a single thing he claimed was done, just taking money that i made a mistake of trusting him with due to relationships with friends etc (all who no longer want anything to do with him, including his own family). Car sat there for months and when i tried to get there to take it back he woudl constantly not be around, ducking calls, avoiding texts etc. I finally told him im coming in to discuss more work and more money and low and behold he was there, so i showed up with a trailer and took my car.

He has screwed over every single person who i know that worked with him, including employees and people who called him a friend. I believe he's actually going out of business officially but who knows when that will actually happen.
